Lego through its Marvel Superheroes line have produced quite an array of Iron Man minifigures and kits. However, to date, they have not produced and official Hulkbuster Kit. Several fans have taken the matter with their own hands and have produced several prototypes using the Lego CUUSO project. One of the notable contenders is the work of Iron Man fan Jon San Pedro.
Inspired by Jon's work and being an Iron Man fan myself, I decided to create my own version to complement my small collection of Iron Man minifigures.

The Hulkbuster armor was Tony Stark's answer to the Hulk. This version of the Iron Man armor first appeared in Iron Man #304.
" The armor's magno-hydraulic pseudo-musculature provided greatly enhanced strength rated at 175 tons. Sensors were adapted to focus on detecting gamma radiation. It had impact-resistant carbon composite plating and an anchoring system. As it was an add-on, the systems of the Modular Armor were still functional."- From the HulkBuster Wikia Page
This custom Iron Man Hulkbuster figure was built using pieces from 2 Ninjago Fire Mech Kits, an Iron Man Ultrabuild kit, and an Iron Man Minifigure.
This is fully articulated. Its features ball jointed limbs, and individually movable fingers.
.
True to its history of being a modular armor, this Hulkbuster custom also features a removable Iron Man minifigure which doubles as the Hulkbuster's head.
Armaments are a bit sparse on this figure since the Hulkbuster's main MO is to suppress the hulk using brute strength. The figure is armed with the standard hand and chest repulsors along with 4 chest-mounted fire and forget mini rockets.
In my next post I will be showcasing the Hulkbuster form of Iron Man's buddy War Machine. Stay tuned.
