I just checked the Music App on my iPad and Lo and Behold, U2's latest album Songs of Innocence is sitting there for my listening pleasure.  Talk about a sweet gift from Apple and U2.

According to Tech News site TechCrunch.com, U2, and Apple formally launched the album Songs of Innocence through iCloud in the iPhone 6 launch event yesterday.  U2 frontman Bono and Apple CEO Tim Cook ceremonially touched their fingers to signify the simultaneous uploading of the album across all Apple devices utilizing iCloud around the world.

This may be a sweet deal for most music lovers out there, however, according to reports, if you don't like to keep the album in your iCloud account, you may be out of luck since the album allegedly will keep appearing on your account.  Your only option is to probably hide it from your Playlist.

However, being a huge U2 fan, this is still a pleasant surprise for me.
