Toy Review: Chogokin Popynica (CPA-20) Great Mazinger Queenstar Gashapon

As a follow up to the Great Mazinger Mini Headbust review, I will now be reviewing the
2002 Bandai Chogokin Popynica (CPA-20) Queenstar.

The Queenstar is the cockpit and flying head unit of Great Mazinger's partner, Venus A.

The Chogokin Popynica Series is a set of vending machine or capsule toys released by Bandai in 2002. The toys were miniature versions of their vintage Popy line of toys. Among the notables in the set are miniature versions of the Voltes V team, the Combattler V team, and the Getter Team.

This toy in particular is a miniature version of the Vintage Popy Queenstar toy as seen below.

What's fantastic about this Gashapon is that even the packaging mimics the look and feel of the original Popy toy.

The toy is made out of high-grade plastic of the same quality of its bigger counterparts.
The toy features an opening cockpit, and a swiveling landing gear. It even includes a miniature
Jun Hono pilot figure.

Over-all, this is a fantastic miniature of the Popy Queenstar toy, considering the toy is less than an inch long.

To wrap up this review, I leave you with a shot of the Queenstar with the Brain Condor.
