Toy Review: Takara-Tomy Arts Great Mazinger Mini Head Bust

This is my first review for the Takara-Tomy Arts Super Figure Collection (SFC) Capsule Gashapon series. I've recently acquired a couple of the figures from this fantastic Gashapon set, and I will be writing about the whole series once I get my hands on the rest of the figures from the collection.

The toy comes  in a generic plastic capsule. The package includes a mini leaflet, and the separate plastic parts of the gashapon.

I now present you with the Great Mazinger Mini Bust. The toy is about 2 inches tall and made of high-grade PVC plastic.

Great Mazinger is the successor of Mazinger Z. This robot  was created by Kenzo Kabuto, the long-thought deceased father of Mazinger Z pilot Kouji Kabuto.  Great Mazinger is piloted by Tetsuya Tsurugi, an orphan raised by Kenzo Kabuto.

The main feature of this bust is that Great Mazinger's cockpit, the Brain Condor, can be separated from the head.

The Brain Condor is a flying aircraft that serves as Great Mazinger's cockpit. It is reminiscent of the Hover Pilder, Mazinger Z's own removable flying aircraft/cockpit.

There's not much play value it this figure, it being a head bust. The details on this figure however is excellent for its size, and would look real nice displayed in your shelf or on your office desk.

Here's a few more shots of the Great Mazinger mini head bust as we end this review.
